Built from real operations, not from a generic template.
Graphical Art Studio is a business software studio based in Kolkata. We build the tools businesses run every day — hotel management on desktop and cloud, school ERP, pharmacy counters, restaurant systems, retail billing, studio platforms and a handful of focused mobile apps.
Software that grew up inside the businesses it serves.
The studio did not start with a product plan. It started inside a working hotel, where the front desk, the restaurant, the laundry and the accounts all had to agree on the same bill. Those workflows became HMS Pro — and then, built the same way, they became a school ERP, a pharmacy counter, a restaurant system, a retail billing platform and a set of mobile apps. Each one grew around real forms and departmental modules rather than one thin dashboard.
That origin is still how we build. Every product starts from a counter we have actually watched: a reception on a busy check-in evening, a pharmacist hunting for a substitute brand, a principal chasing fee dues, a shopkeeper closing the day's cash, a studio owner juggling shoot dates, a coach scoring the last over.
What we optimise for
| Priority | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Speed at the counter | The busiest hour decides whether a system survives. |
| Correct money | Departmental postings must land on one bill, taxed right. |
| Working offline | Billing cannot stop because a line went down. |
| Clear reporting | Owners need answers, not raw data dumps. |
| Traceable access | Roles and audit trails keep staff honest. |
“The best software is the one the team can operate confidently on its busiest day.”
That single sentence decides most of our design choices.
Fast front-desk workflows
Keyboard-first screens, minimal clicks and the actions a counter repeats fifty times a day placed where the hand already is.
Connected departmental billing
Restaurant, laundry, services and store consumption post to the same folio and the same ledger — no reconciliation at night.
Reporting managers actually read
Day close, collection, occupancy, dues, food cost and margin — printed or on a phone, in the shape a manager already thinks in.
Practical security
Role-based access, station limits and an audit trail — enough control to protect the business without slowing the counter.
Backups and remote visibility
Rolling verified backups on desktop products, encrypted cloud copies on mobile ones, and owner snapshots for people who are not on site.
Support from the builders
You talk to the people who write the software. Installation, training and post-go-live questions are handled by the same team.
Depth first, then modern capability.
A · Operational depth
The software grew around dozens of forms, departmental modules and reporting workflows rather than one thin dashboard — because that is what a real counter needs to get through a day.
B · Modernised control
Owner dashboards, online booking, automatic backups, cloud editions, invoice QR codes and encrypted mobile backups — modern capabilities layered onto software that already worked, across every industry we serve.
C · New industries, same discipline
School ERP, pharmacy counters, restaurant kitchens, photography studios and cricket scoring — each built the same way, around the workflow of the people who will use it every day.
Every family, one standard.
Straightforward, start to finish.
Tell us what your business needs to do every day.
Most conversations end with a clear answer — either “this edition fits you” or “you actually need this other product”. Either way you leave knowing what to do next.
